How PawBNB and Zoa Zone Services collect, process, protect, and handle personal data in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act 2023).

1. Commitment to Privacy & DPDP Act 2023 Compliance

At PawBNB, operated in India by Zoa Zone Services Pvt Ltd and globally by Zoa Zone Services LLC ("PawBNB", "we", "us", or "our"), we respect your fundamental right to privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, utilize, disclose, and protect personal digital data in strict compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act 2023"), the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

2. Categories of Personal Data Collected

User Profile Information:

Full name, email address, mobile phone number, city, residential address, and profile photo provided during account registration or Google OAuth login.

Pet Health & Passport Data:

Pet breed, age, weight, vaccination records, dietary instructions, medications, behavioral notes, and veterinarian contact details.

Host Caregiver Verification Data:

Government identity proofs (Aadhaar / PAN for KYC in India), home photographs, balcony netting inspection records, and bank payout details.

Booking & Milestone Records:

Dates of stay, pickup/drop-off times, 4-digit Handover & Pickup PIN records, GPS dog walking routes, and photo/video timeline updates.

3. Financial Information Handled Exclusively by Cashfree

PawBNB does not store, process, or have access to your full credit card numbers, debit card CVVs, or UPI PINs on our servers.

All payments in Indian Rupees (INR) are handled directly by Cashfree Payments India Pvt Ltd, a Reserve Bank of India (RBI) authorized Payment Aggregator and certified PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant gateway. Card tokenization and mandate storage (e.g. UPI AutoPay, e-NACH) follow RBI tokenization guidelines.

4. Lawful Purpose & Sharing with Independent Hosts

As an online marketplace platform, PawBNB shares limited personal data with the specific independent host selected by the Pet Parent, strictly for the purpose of executing the booked pet care services:

  • Shared Data: Pet parent contact name, phone number, pet medical/dietary requirements, emergency veterinary contacts, and stay dates.
  • Host Obligation: Approved hosts are contractually bound under our Partner MoU not to use pet parent contact information for any unauthorized solicitation or external marketing.
  • No Sale of Data: PawBNB never sells, rents, or monetizes your personal data or your pet’s records to third-party advertisers.

5. Data Retention & Security Safeguards

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, resolve disputes, satisfy statutory accounting and tax obligations under Indian law, and maintain booking history for warranty and emergency vet protection.

We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest), strict role-based access control (RBAC), and continuous vulnerability monitoring to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.

6. Your Rights as a Data Principal (DPDP Act 2023)

Right to Access Summary: Obtain a summary of personal data being processed and the identities of data fiduciaries with whom it has been shared.
Right to Correction & Erasure: Request correction of inaccurate or outdated data, or erasure of personal data that is no longer necessary.
Right of Grievance Redressal: Register a complaint directly with our Data Protection & Grievance Officer, with resolution guaranteed within 15 days.
Right to Nominate: Designate another individual who may exercise your data rights in the event of death or incapacity.
